ABOUT
Our mission is to honor Gloria Pashby by bringing together family and friends to celebrate life and give back to the community.
The Pashby Family Foundation was created to remember the life of Gloria Pashby, who passed away from cancer on June 9, 2001. Born in the Philippines in 1936, she immigrated to the United States at age nine with her eight siblings, where they resided in San Bruno, CA. A decade or so later, she met Gene Pashby through mutual friends - they fell in love, got married, and had seven children, 23 grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.

Gloria lived a meaningful life of service and was adored by all who met her. After her funeral with over 500 people in attendance, the Pashby family received an overwhelming amount of both emotional and financial support. Gene and Gloria's children agreed that setting up the Gloria Pashby Scholarship Fund at their alma maters was the best way to honor her legacy of giving back to the community. Now even 20+ years after Gloria's passing, her memory certainly lives on thanks to the kindness and generosity of family and friends at our annual fundraiser hosted by the Pashby Family Foundation.
